THE TRAVEL GROUP was created in 2000 by the merger of three well-established agencies in Springfield, Missouri, OZARK WORLD TRAVEL, CONSULTING TRAVEL and THOMAS TRAVEL with combined experience uneaqualled in the Ozarks.

We are dedicated to personal, professional and expert travel services for leisure and corporate travelers, adventurers, groups, meetings, conferences and incentive groups.

The Travel Group combines the skills, the dedication to superior service and business stability of the three parent agencies. Because of our increased size we can not only offer increased technical ability but the resources of a combined number of travel counselors and the resulting depth of world travel experience.

Our Office Facilities

Our offices are located in the Plaza Towers Building, on the lobby level. We occupy approximately 5000 square feet of newly remodeled and equipped space. You will find our office comfortable, attractive and conducive to relaxed, pleasant travel planning. We employ the latest reservation technology from Worldspan with full internet connectivity. There is an extensive library of travel videotapes for viewing and for loan

Our staff includes Certified Travel Counselors, Certified Travel Associates, Destination Specialists, Master Cruise counselors and other specially-trained individuals. We are members of ASTA, (American Society of Travel Agents), CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and ICTA (Institute of Certified Travel Agents). 

We are very proud to have been appointed the regional representative of Virtuoso (Formerly API Travel). Less than 1% of North American Travel Agencies are chosen for membership to this very exclusive travel group.
